Rated 5 out of 5 by Mike from Monster This printer is big, heavy, and solid. Setup is pretty easy, lots of software on the Ricoh website, some more suitable for business than home use, but not very difficult to use and understand. Lots of settings available from control panel.
I have used Ricoh printers for work, so I was familiar with the settings, but new users might have trepidation. Read the manual! Print quality is very good. One great feature that is not well documented is one can scan multi-page documents directly to a USB drive plugged into the printer/scanner. Note that color scans will quickly fill up the internal memory.
Overall, fantastic multi-function machine for a very good price. Rated 5 out of 5 by James from Wifi Problem fixed In my earlier review I mentioned the the wifi card was dead upon arrival.
Contacted Ricoh Tech support on Dec.23 and they scheduled a service call for today (Dec. 26) Sure enough a Ricoh Technician showed up at my house mid-morning. Replaced the wifi card ran thru some tests and declared the printer is ok.

He was also kind enough to spend extra time with me as I asked some questions about scanning. Very satisfied with Ricohs response. For the price I paid (Black Friday Sale).sub 180, I wasn't expecting a tech to come to the house and thought I'd have to box this beast back up and ship it back. Rated 3 out of 5 by Joe S from Handy, but not a performer I bought this all-in-one machine for my home office as the older equipment started having chronic paper jams and other annoyances. I also liked the idea of one unit replacing two as my color laser printer neither a scanner or wireless, and the ink-jet all in one did not produce high enough quality for all my needs. I have only had it a few weeks so can not address longevity.
It does its basic functions, saving me trips to my corporate office when I need to print up reports, flyers, etc. On duplex color printing it is unbelievably slow! I ran a batch of twenty 2-sided (8.5 X 11) flyers with both photos and text and it took near 45-minutes to complete.
After the first couple of sheets came out, I realized I had time to shave and shower while the print job was in progress. The quality was satisfactory. The machine is on the noisy side also. I'm not going to return it. I would caution another buyer to be very cognizant of the production speed as IMHO this machine is best suited for light duty; certainly not an office with several employees. Rated 5 out of 5 by DM from A lot of printer for the money I have only had this printer for a few weeks and what little I have printed has been great. This printer is packed with features for the price.
It is probably larger and heavier than most printers on the market (it feels more like a small copy machine), but I do not mind because I bought it for office use and hope that the weight is engineering that will help it last. My only disappointment was that BH Photo advised me to buy the waste toner bottle. The printer comes with a waste toner bottle. That part is a replacement part that will only be needed later. Rated 4 out of 5 by Seong il S. From Compatible with Apple MacBook or OSX First time, I installed the driver from the included CD, but I couldn't print in color.
I visited the the website, and downloaded the driver, but it didn't work. Finally, Ricoh released the new driver for Mac OS X 10.13 (macOS High Sierra) on, and it works great!
However, I couldn't find any installation instruction for Mac OSX yet, so you may need trial and error to intall the deriver to your Apple Computer. The color is so beautiful, but this printer is somewhat slow. Rated 5 out of 5 by Sheila from Awesome All-in-One -Goodbye Inkjet!
I just got my new printer today and have it up and running. I can't believe how great the print is!! My brother has an HP and I was disappointed after I saw his color flyer. I knew I did not want an HP and it would not duplex copy or scan. I'm in real estate and need the duplexing for both.
We have Ricoh copiers at work that are fantastic so I decided to see if Ricoh had an all in one and found this one had better reviews than most and the price was right. The set up was easy all except trying to find the envelope levers so you can print. The instructions say they are on the back.no, they are in the front when you drop down the front.
That was my only problem. WiFi set right up. It exceeds my expectations in all areas.
The print quality is exceptional. I printed a colored flyer with a picture of children on it for summer camp and it looks like a print shop did it. Great printer, scanner, and copier!

This is an office printer priced as a home mfc. My unit arrived with a dead wifi card installed. I contacted Ricoh support and they were very good in technical support. The rep is based in Atlanta and after an hour of conducting various tests and configurations he came to the same conclusion.
The unit works fine with usb or hooked up to a network via Ethernet, just not wireless. Ricoh is currently deciding whether to ship me a replacement or send a tech out to replace the wifi card. All other functions work fine.
This printer has numerous options typically only found in a much more expensive office printers, The 21ppm engine is what keeps it from being deployed to a large office. For home use it's terrific and very versatile. I'll update this review after Ricoh fixes the wifi problem.
